Dr. Choi says, “I really enjoy getting to know my patients and giving them the great smile that they deserve. Always feel free to ask any question regarding your treatment! I am attentive to each patient’s special needs and like them to be involved in their treatment in order to achieve the best results possible.”
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Dr. Choi was awarded her Dental Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry and her Orthodontics Certificate from the Roseman University of Health Sciences. To keep up with evolving technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association and the America Association of Orthodontics. She also speaks Korean.
Away from the office, Dr. Choi likes traveling and exploring new places and spending time with friends and family.

About Me
Dr. John Lee attended University of California, San Diego where he graduated magna cum laude in three years with a degree in biology. He then received his dental degree (DDS) at University of California, Los Angeles where he found his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. For the next six years, he trained at University of California, San Francisco where he received his medical degree (MD), anesthesia, general surgery and maxillofacial surgery certification.
Dr. Lee truly believes in patient-centered care. He aims to discuss all available treatment options and collaborate with other dental specialists to deliver the best treatment for his patients. Dr. Lee’s rigorous and diverse training program provided him with immense experience and capability in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. He developed a particular interest in office-based anesthesia and procedures including dentoalveolar and implant surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his partner Esther. His interests include traveling, playing/watching sports including soccer and golf.

Dr. Michael Sherman, D.D.S., is a seasoned dentist dedicated to providing exemplary dental care to his patients. With a strong foundation in biochemistry and a passion for keeping the public healthy, Dr. Sherman pursued his dental education at UCLA after completing his undergraduate studies at SUNY Stony Brook in 1988.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Sherman ensures effective communication with all his patients, fostering a comfortable and inclusive environment at GD Cactus, where he practices general dentistry.
Dr. Sherman’s commitment to his profession extends beyond the clinic walls. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), staying abreast of the latest advancements in dental care. His dedication to serving underserved communities has earned him recognition in remote area medicine.
What Dr. Sherman values most about his profession is the opportunity to interact with patients, understanding their needs, and delivering the smile they’ve always wanted. Beyond dentistry, he enjoys hobbies such as golf, racquetball, exploring the great outdoors through hiking, and indulging in cinematic experiences.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Sherman is a devoted family man, married with three children. He also takes pride in mentoring aspiring dental professionals, sharing his expertise and guiding them along their career paths.
